Dr. Geoffrey Martin Rockwell is the Director of the Humanities Computing Centre and a lecturer in Humanities Computing at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He received a B.A. in philosophy from Haverford College and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Toronto. His thesis was on the subject of philosophical dialogue. He has also worked for many years as a instructional technology specialist at the University of Toronto.
The McMaster Humanities Computing Centre is a teaching and research facility with traditional audio facilities and multimedia computer labs. The TACT-Web online workbook was developed in part for undergraduate courses in Humanities Computing given by Dr. Rockwell through the Humanities Computing Centre.
