Incorrect version display

I have installed GPC-970714 for DJGPP. However, typing 'GPC -v' at the
command prompt shows the following information:

    Reading specs from e:/djgpp/lib\specs
    gpc version 970624(2.7.2.1)

WRONG VERSION! What happened?
