I downloaded your version GPC-Linux instead of recompiling it
myself. I got a project for my CMSC112 class due soon and I don't have
time to mess around trying to figure out how to recompile GPC. 'Tho, I
seem to be having some trouble.

When I try to compile a test program, I get the error:

ld: cannot open crt0.o: No such file or directory

Here's where I have the files installed. The binary gpc is installed in
/usr/bin. The binaries gpc-cpp and gpc1 are installed in the directory
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-linuxaout/2.6.3, however I have symbolic links in
the directory /usr/local/bin named "gpc-cpp" and "gpc1" pointing to those
binaries. The ar libraries libgpc.a and libgcc.a are also installed in
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-linuxaout/2.6.3.

My system is SlackWare Linux v.3.0. The version of GCC I have installed
is v.2.7.0. The source code is not installed. I do not have GCC v.2.6.3
installed in either source or compiled form.

Please help. Thanks.
